St. John’s, Maryland, Cincinnati, and Oregon are amongst the newest programs that have reached out to FIU transfer Antonio Daye Jr, he told @Stockrisers.

Highly-sought after transfer. Averaged 17.5 points and 2.5 steals per game.

Daye 10000% yes

he's the perfect Anderson player. Strong build. Tough defender. Finishes at the rim.

Another sharpshooter from deep.

Stats aren't everything but Daye looks like a turnover machine (4.5 this year and 4.0 last year) who can't shoot from three (29%). Then again Rutherford's stats weren't great either; if they are just looking for someone to spell our guards and play tough defense he might be fine.

Re Daye

"As previously mentioned, Daye is scheduled to speak with Capel and the Pitt staff Wednesday evening but being from North Carolina, Daye is already familiar with the Capel name and likes the things he already knows about the Pitt program.“I’m supposed to talk to Coach Capel later but when I talked to one of the assistants, I was excited because I know that Pitt is a good program and are on the upswing in the ACC because of Coach Capel,” Daye said. Boston College G Rich Kelly will miss the remainder of the season with a foot injury and will enter the transfer portal. Formerly Fairfield Prep shooter.

Rothstein::
Pitt's Au'Diese Toney will transfer, per release. Averaged 14.4 PPG, 5.9 RPG, and 2.3 APG.

But will the big shoe drop??

Per Rothstein & this is two good players in two days leaving Pitt. I know what SJ fans are thinking :)

If only we got a second Champs here, we'd be tough to beat.  Deep run...

Man one can dream....wonder whats going on there- seemed like Capel was building something at the start of the year...

Back to dreaming- rolling out a lineup:
-Posh
-GWill
-Justin
-Julian
-New Center (i know... but we're dreaming here)

That would a tough one not to get extremely excited about....

Oh and OSL teammate of Posh and Wusu Max Amaduson has played a whopping 4 games.

I have to believe St. John's through back channels has already talked to Justin.

Back channels like his brother as they speak or texts each other daily.

If he really is moving up the draft Board as someone posted on either this or another thread, I could see Justin heading that way instead of entering the transfer portal.

If he's a guaranteed first round pick then yes absolutely he should head that way. If he's not , he should come home for a year. Very interested to see what Max Amundson does also. Why stay for a total rebuild. Very interesting.

Narrowing down to 50 soon :)

SJU had some interest at some point, but seems high maintenance type;

Jeff Borzello

"Samford forward Christian Guess has entered the transfer portal, source told ESPN. Averaged 15.1 points and 9.0 rebounds in 10 games this season."
