Joel hitting 3s. šŸ˜³

Anybody else getting flashbacks to 1994's "The Air Up There" when Kevin Bacon dunks on a star recruit and the star recruit is so pissed and humiliated that he signs elsewhere?

I donā€™t remember it being a dunk (remember in the movie Baconā€™s career ended due to a knee injury he suffered in a game while and undergrad but he was the lead recruiter and beat the recruit in one on one or you could be right and he dunked on him).

When I watched the video, I only watched to the point when Soriano hit the first jumper Not realizing there was more. I watched the whole thing this time and wow. Back in the day if that happened in the playground, everyone would ā€œrun homeā€ and tell everybody.

That was a foreshadowing of the Fredric Weiss movie.

He was dunked on by Vince Carter (I think) in a USA-France game and never came to the NBA. Ron Artest is still shaking his head as to why the Knicks passed him over for Weiss.

At least we know that no one would have tried to dunk on Artest that way because that player would have to be peeled off the court with pieces of wood in their mouth.

FrĆ©dĆ©ric Weiss now runs a tobacco shop in Limoges, France. God help me I think I spelled that right. I guess HEā€™S happy. I, as a Knicks fanā€¦not so much.

Small piece of info and this is just 1 of the staff members opinion. The new player that impressed him the most so far has been Brady. Not that he's the best but he has been better than expected and ranking

All the transfers come with their own set of expectations and Wilcher because of his super high ranking obviously comes with his own really high expectation. So this doesn't mean the others aren't playing well or some not better. All working super hard

This person was just saying that Brady better than his HS ranking and that doesn't mean he will be a star this year but will be a very good player over his career here
