Is Bruce Thornton a possibility, now or ever? He was rated more highly than Demery coming out of HS and I think he has better stats than Demery. According to ESPN, Thornton's stats are: 17.7 PPG, 3.4 RPG, 4.6 APG, 1.5 TPG, 50.1 FG%, 42.4 3P% and 85.3 FT%. He also has major conference experience.
Yup. RJ will be 23 in November so he and Bryce are pretty much the same age

One slice of good news or a couple of pieces?
Someone mentioned his name yesterday but I have no idea if that was just a want or if we are involved. I watched him play. Excellent shooter, tough smart player. Not explosive but can run an offense well.
Thornton is really talented, but not in portal yet, unless I missed it. Of course SJU would have interest, but competition would be fierce imo.
Might’ve been 79 who mentioned it but sure staff is saving a huge amount of money for an elite pg.
They will get a very good one, just pointing out Thornton will be in high demand.
That’s what I was thinking when I saw Thornton’s name.

I recall he
projected somebody as locked up for us last year and was dead wrong. I’ll celebrate when it’s official.
He was wrong about Omier. Right about everyone else. Ok to be a little happy.
Assume the locked up refers to Bryce?
