with Mitchell being the hottness at the moment.... Having only seen his highlight video posted- where he shot 100%.... here are his Totals from his first two years:

For those that are saying (im sure its true) he Can't shoot... is this 60% from 2 - just pure putbacks? I'm personally encouraged by his 20% jump in FT shooting... albiet it should be pretty easy for a D1 player to improve from 40% lol.... but hey... he improved...
Fewer than 2 fouls per game is impressive. Does that indicate lateral quickness?

this is solid...

man... assuming the "Other 2pt" would have to be 3feet and out... under 30% is ROOOUUUUGHHHH....

but do i know a guy who does some solid Player development sessions....
I'm not worried that he doesn't shoot from beyond three feet. Someone's got to rebound if (as many on the board are worried) the rest of the team is missing from outside.

I don’t think that many poster realize the importance of getting a commitment from a very good PF (4). While our strength in positions 1-3 is pretty obvious, our mediocrity at the 4 and 5 positions (if Ledlum does not return), can nullify that advantage. Here’s hoping Coach pulls a rabbit out of his hat and brings in a credible 4 man.

There are many ways to win basketball games; I have no idea what this team will look like because pretty much the whole team is an unknown to me. But it has been proven that the traditional 1-5 positions are not necessary in modern basketball.
Thibedou (sp?) may have saved the Knicks the other night by starting McBride and playing with one big and the Knicks utterly dominated the rebounding. Just one example.

It works/makes it easier if your team has great chemistry.
