SJU Portal Targets

I'm sure they look at analytics as part of the overall scouting and evaluation tool for kids they don't have experience with. Nate Oates was pretty open about Bama's use of an analytics firm to help with their portal decisions -- e.g., Estrada profiled for them and their system better than many other comparable guards, he said.
Alabama with Oates totally makes sense to me. It’s actually the first I’ve heard about them using analytics but if anyone would be doing it, I would have guessed them first.

They took a bunch of offense only guys and made it work.

If I’m remembering this correctly, UConn uses the same analytics firm that was recommended to them from Bama staff as well

Even if not, whatever UConn uses worked wonders for them.

Didn't realize what a brilliant basketball mind Luke Murray had until reading that recent article.

What i've heard here... kid had a number in mind wanted to stay Utah didn't offer it...entered portal with number in mind and multiple schools have already exceeded his ask. This is NOT a kid bag chasing...i've heard SJ is right there..with Sheppard gone Pope really wants him...obviously with this many good schools invl who knows but SJ will put a strong offer and push here. As in my first post...this is the kid.

Let’s hope Kentucky is involved with some other good guards.
