Only 11 ppg vs A-10 comp, as a Junior. Is he really looking to spend his last season at a place where he’ll be a 15mpg backup, unless it allows him to compete for a natty
11 PPG is pretty good when your leading scorer averages 20.4 PPG a dm the next player avg 11.7 and three others between 8.1 and 9.4. Means they had a No. 1 option and everything else was plenty balanced.

I, like you, don’t think he is looking to go somewhere to be a 15 mpg backup.

Rather than coming to the board a couple of times a day for some news, I will wait for an alert on my NY Post app announcing a signing by Zach.
But you'd be checking the App constantly and not hissing / being hissed at by fellow fanatics. That's a lonely way to live, lol.

I think he may be okay with being a 6th man again, but he's definitely going to be playing 25-30 minutes at least. Most importantly, he should be with a coach that can get him drafted. He has a really important NBA skill and NBA size.

I'm a pretty patient portal guy, but by Friday I may be ready to divvy up the Cliff money to sweeten what we'd offer Mitchell and a top-flight guard and let's see what Ejiofor can do with the bulk of the center minutes.
Personally, I would do that now, in a heartbeat, without a second thought, no doubt about it. I love players who noticeably improve in-season, most especially ones who play as hard as Eijofor does; I expect he is putting in yeoman’s work to improve even more. Omoyuri is a good player, no question, but he is what he is, IMO.

Wouldn't shock me if this backfires in a big way and he's at Manhattan, Kansas.

As long as we get a bonafide rim protector at the five, I'm happy.

eh, it's a made-up language anyway. Don't read too much into it - pretty sure that post was just that Matt A is gonna have to go into hiding soon if we don't sign someone OR Matt is in the bunker redoubling his efforts to look busy while achieving nothing...
lol ok i figured. we are all getting anxious!

Pretty good list for a good but not great player who disappeared in some games like against Houston with a whopping 2 points. I have to believe that many of the teams mentioned are looking at him as a “depth” piece.
That would seem to give us a 'better' chance, so I hope you're right.
