He probably could have averaged 25 points per game for Princeton last season.
Just my opinion. I like his handle, and he has proper form on his jump shot.

Maybe. But in any event there were lots of excellent players who were happy to be role players on Florida and Houston this year and play in the championship game
Ivy is a slightly better league. Very close.

Like Darlingās overall game but heās a bit slow on his outside shot and does a double-pump thing where he releases after the top of his jump. I wonder if at the next level he will be able to get his shot off as efficiently. Thatās my main question. Heās athletic enough, though not quite a perfect fit on this roster. Crafty but Iām not totally sold.
Based on Paultz avatar appears heās the leader in the clubhouse.
Yeah I like a lot of the other things he does. Defends well too woth quick hands. Just curious if he can tighten up the jumper abs get it off a bit faster. Iām fine with him as a backup/part-time PG thoigh and it seems that what we are going for. At least he gives us a pure-pg type which I think we need. Again maybe Iām wrong about the jumper. Just gonna face a different level of comp here at sju.
I actually like both Mingo and Darling. Very solid numbers, downside obviously lower conference. It is a serious jump. But 2 things:
1) Not asking either to be superstars and 2)They will get ELITE coaching.
As always go look at Rick's 2010-11 Louisville team had Chris Smith from Manhattan and Kyle Kuric from Evansville. Neither were superstar transfers and both flipped to walk on status their last year to allow for others to join team. And both became key contributors on 2010-11 and 11-12 Final Four team.
For conference strength Sun Belt and Big Sky were 20 and 21 in the NET rankings. By comparision for lower mid major conferences MACC was 26.

Saw similar with Mingo, but if Rick and staff properly communicate their role to them, the only time they'll be shooting 3s is when they're wide open
