Boogie always made way too much sense to enter the portal. He's not a first round lock. We can offer him top 20 first round pick money. He can play with one of his good friends. He fits our position of need and can absolutely get us to a title (and raise his NBA stock). Stay close to home, play at MSG (which if you watch the Arkansas Vice doc, he seems to like more than he thought). Get coached by one of the best.

Don't know Boggie and not even sure if ever met the young man but hes been topic of a LOT of convos....I know hes focused on NBA but from what I've heard to increase his stock and collect a HUGE check I would bet from what Ive heard on him playing CBB next yr.

Could be wrong but no teams in the country will be returning more big time contributors than Houston and Purdue. Unless we land a big time PG, I wouldn't really agree with any preseason ranking that puts us ahead of those two.

Houston does lose 5 of their top 8

We should do whatever it takes to get Boogie. We’d be preseason top 3 and a favorite to win the title. Whatever it takes Repole.

Yeah I am at a lost with them, either Sha is playing 3-D chess and knows something we all don't or yikes...

I mean they just lost Scotty Middleton to Tulane and Dual to McNeese. So it could mean 3 things right:

1)Sha made it clear he was recruiting over them and they should probably go elsewhere
2)He wanted them back but they didn't want to be back with that program or
3)Their was mutual interest but the NIL was better at McNeese and Tulane.

If no. 1, fine. But the results so far are not good.

2 & 3 suggest something much worse...

I feel badly for them…I witnessed our game in person at the Pru this year. They had a low mid major roster and it appears this year it will simply be a roster.

There was word on the discord a couple weeks ago that some guys were steering clear of the Hall due to concerns over if they would actually get paid. Haven't heard many details about it since but that type of thing has been out there and probably why they only have 5 dudes, none of them particularly good.

Their fans also seem worried that Budd might end up decommitting which would be objectively hilarious at this point.
