Imo, SJU does not get caught in bidding wars either on the retention side or pursuing transfers. Fair market value seems to be always in the equation here.

The pursuit of a seasoned well shooting PG, adding a power guy like Hopkins and another forward w perimeter skills seems to be the SJ to do list I would guess, but again, all this stuff is fluid. Their goal of upgrading shooting while preserving integrity of the defense can be tricky.

I guess that eventually they add a couple of former high level HS recruits who haven’t panned with current college for development purposes, like Zuby and Vince. Replacement for HS recruiting. Obviously, not top priority right now.

I'm purely speculating but I'd guess that is where the Euros come in, like Prey and Lefty

Totally agree, we're in a good position where if you don't want to play for a HOF legend in front of sold out MSG for fair market, that's your loss. Agents should realize the exposure alone you will have playing for is worth a lot more long term

Just a note, do we know if any of the current players have spoken to or know Sanon? Has there been much interaction btw them. Asking for a friend!

At this point all we need to know is that if our HOF Coach/Staff doesn't recruit over Makar then he's a keeper. The days of worrying about whether our coach/staff is any good at talent evaluation are over and with NIL, Rick ain't wasting time/scholly on a kid that doesn't fit his immediate goal of a national championship.
