With the way they look at NE teams, we are lucky to be 20. Bananas.

We have won there before with a 2 run homer with 2 out in the 9th to win a regional eliminator.

This weekend we are in Greenville NC for the LeClair Classic. Opponents are:
Appalachian State (4-4)
East Carolina (5-3), five game wining streak, all three losses were to #8 Ole Miss. This is probably our toughest game of this tournament.
Western Carolina (4-3), we beat them 14-3 in our first game this season

Confidence has to be very high in SJU camp.

I was very into the Panik, Baltz, Wessinger, Hansen team when I was a student. Going to have to get back to the ballpark and catch out some games

7-3 Final for us. Looks like we banged out 12 hits and everyone got a hit. There seems to be quality up and down the lineup.

I think tomorrow (East Carolina) is the trickier one of the three.

Definitely. The thing with baseball is you never know on any given day. A hot pitcher can win a game.

We just took the lead going into the bottom of the 5th under bizarre circumstances. Bases loaded 2 outs and a combination of catchers interference / foul ball / balk was called... We don't care we have the lead! Their manager was ejected in the confusion!

Looks like its 3-3 now but ECU has 2nd and 3rd with 1 out in the Bottom of the 8th.

Well... we were unlikely to go through an entire season undefeated, so Frankie V and Johnny Franco can rest easy tonight. We battled hard but a couple of wild pitches undid us. If we are to lose, it might as well be to a Top 10 team. I bet we bounce back with a W tomorrow.

Watched a few innings on ECU TV. French didn't have it today. Can't win them all. As for Northeast baseball Binghamton won three in a row against #19 Virginia Tech.
