Curbelo comes in with the Johnnies holding a 10 point lead and playing cohesively on offense and defense. Within minutes of Curbelo checking in he makes 2 unforced turnovers and is lackadaisical in his defensive rotations and Seton Hall started gaining momentum. Then under 2 minutes to go in the half he forces a high risk pass to Soriano instead of holding on to the ball to milk the clock and get a better shot.

Defense has been bad obviously. Need some shooters to hit open shots. Mathis has missed a few open looks. I also continue to be frustrated by how poorly he finishes.

Let him set some screens and pick and pop. There are some easy ways to make a guy feel like he’s involved and we aren’t doing it.
