Seton Hall (MSG), Sat., Mar. 1, 2:15p, CBS

i checked this morning... all the 400s were unsold on TM... now they r grayed out... we think MSG took those seats away? or the school bought em? no way they sold themselves in 5 hours
I'm assuming school bought them since WC is still available. It's extremely boring but I wish I had an inside guy who would leak this specific information to me. Always find it interesting. lol

That would make sense. The West Balcony has never been for sale either even though the east balcony and bridges were available. Probably the same thing.

so having to walk the kid a bit during the Creighton game... one of the Balcony sections on the Bridge/300 level were "Lounges"... real nice... curtained off, high top tables for standing and then seats... like bigger but less private suites.

The last time there was this much anticipation before a game against Seton Hall at the Garden was probably in 1991, which everyone expected to be Carnesecca’s 500th career victory. The team won that game handily.

I was sports editor of The Torch then, and covered that game. I asked the editor in chief to save the front page for this story because it was such a big university story.

She agreed, but also asked if I had a backup plan for the front page news if the team lost. I assured her I did, which was a lie. I was confident they were not going to lose that game.

Fortunately the team came through big time and we graced the front page of The Torch with a photo of the team carrying Carnesecca on their shoulders with the headline, “Looie’s Grand Garden Party”.
