Wow. Lots of almost free seats in the 200 section.Resale market plummeting. Usually a sign of less butts in the seats than attendance # announced

Thank you!Great listen. Congratulations Dave. You continue to deliver the goods.
Seems like some of the following -Wow. Lots of almost free seats in the 200 section.
And STJ gave away tickets to students/groups of people who didn't really want to goSeems like some of the following -
The casual fan wants to see more competitive games.
Almost no Seton Hall fans in attendance.
Confusion over the rescheduling of the game.
People saving their money to go to the BET
Probably brokers is my guess. There are a significant number of resale tickets available for this game. Is that Seton Hall fans dumping their tickets? I will be in section 106 Row 17.
There are 5 programs in the country that would draw over 17,200 fans to a game against lowly Seton Hall when their team is having a great year. Some of that is due to teams not having the capacity, sure, but to be top 5 in anything after what we’ve been through for 20 years is amazing.Ill never get this fanbases obbsession w/ attendence. Who the ef cares.
We are playing for a championship today and all these posts are about attendence.
Good grief.......
It still is 1,000 times better than being cramped in CA.I guess Seton Hall isn't the attraction Ucant and Creighton is. Not going to have the weekend crowd we've been spoiled to expect in this one.
Before the season started without knowing where we would be now I’d have guessed if you put it at msg 10k maxI still expect the crowd to be shocking compared to preseason or midseason expectations. I understand it's showmanship and/or salesmanship, but the Kull/Pitino insistence on this already being a sellout/having 17k tix sold unnecessarily raised expectations for the game. Didn't really work in terms of getting more people to buy tickets either. Just odd
Agree. Better to have 16k than 6k and more elbow room. I hope the St. John's fans that initially paid $300 got restitution or they're gonna have a heart attack when they wake up today and see $10.It still is 1,000 times better than being cramped in CA.
As long as the ticket company cancel the event, they should all be getting a refund. That $300 ticket can go a long way for today's game instead. Win-win.Agree. Better to have 16k than 6k and more elbow room. I hope the St. John's fans that initially paid $300 got restitution or they're gonna have a heart attack when they wake up today and see $10.
68 and sunny here in beautiful Mooresville, NC. Going out for a pregame run, hope to see all our guys playing later today and enjoying the experience of earning a regular season Big East Crown. Let's go JOHNNIES!!!!Before the season started without knowing where we would be now I’d have guessed if you put it at msg 10k max
It’s 60 degrees out and sunny. Paul SJUFAN2 and all our other brothers lost are smiling down on us today
Of course attendance matters. If the casual fan attends we sell out. Look at all these years. When mullin buzz was here we drew well. Now there is great buzz with a great team and attendance has been awesome.Ill never get this fanbases obbsession w/ attendence. Who the ef cares.
