I agree and can't believe it; playing D with our hands and unfocused offense. Terrible start but we will see. Hopefully we come out playing the ball we have played up until now. Glass half full outlook - we got nothing from Obekpa and are only down 5.
 
Our tallest player for the last few mins of the half was 6'4". This is on Lavin. You can't expect to rebound with that lineup

Funny we rebounded against Gonzaga.
 
Lavin recognized the ticky tak fouls being called and wanted to protect Obecka but big physical teams are the ones that cause Hall the most trouble. 8-0 run at half end. Score first bucket 2nd half and go from there.
 
delgado getting away with murder. the seniors need to recognize that the freshman on Seton Hall came into this game way over amped up and should have forced them into mistakes. they were talking a lot of smack and the ref even warned them. Jordan forcing, however doing the right thing going into the middle to draw fouls. This is what we should be doing against the poor ft shooting SH.
 
What a gem of a 2014 class Willard landed. This team is dangerous.

Yeah, yeah, we all know he hired Whitehead's HS coach. Forget Whitehead, you have to acknowledge that Delgado and Carrington are really nice multi-year players.
 
Gibbs shot was from deep. Not a high percentage but late clock chuck. Nothing you can do about that when it goes in.

I hope so..SH looked like the higher ranked team in the 1st half..good thing 20 minutes are still left to turn it around.

We seem to be settling for too many jumpers from players not named Harrison. SH has some good young players and match up well. Jordan made several costly mistakes and still misses a lot underneath. he's not automatic from the line either.
 
Second chance opportunities, foul differential & leaky D are factors. Pointer is awol & Phill as usual bricking with 2/6. Delgado is a beast, Gibbs outstanding & Carrington is doing those little things. Neither team turning ball over. For us, that means less easy buckets. Let's see what a veteran team can do now.

Gibbs is automatic in that situation from anywhere. There isn't a single player in the country I would choose over him to shoot from that deep with time running out.

SH freshmen look great. Delgado...damn we could have used that kid. Marillac type guy right there.

I have no idea why Jordan is allowed to shoot jumpers with a green light. He's such a dangerous weapon when he drives, on the break, and on the offensive glass. He is an awful jump shooter and it's mostly due to his shot selection. He handed SH that late surge.

Jordan has been told that often by staff to no avail. He beats to his own drum.
