irate: Oh boy! Watched the Seton Hall - G'town game. Do we have our hands full against a very aggressive team on Thursday .BTW, Teague, their bulky center is back. Could put the likes of Sanchez in foul trouble. Scores in close. The Pirates run after each rebound, very quick and they finish. Their guards pass well and know where their open man is. Their point guard, Gibbs, can be taken down low, hopefully by Jordan. He was 6 for 15 from the free throw line even though he supposedly shoots 82%.
Willard pulled a Lavin when he put his best player, Erwin, back in the game at the 2:50 mark with 4 fouls and a Seton 9 point lead. You guessed it, he fouled out. Otherwise this coach is doing a damn good job. Very impressed with their hustle, rebounding and three point shooting. If their are loose balls on Thursday we better get down and dirty.

They will not need to stop Harrison since he does a good job of that by himself by shooting poorly most games.
The Hall breaks better than we do and is more aggressive on offense moving the ball faster and more efficiently. They are confident taking their outside shot so if we are guarding their players soft and not workin to deny them the passes the Hall is capable of a double digit win. The Hall runs as well or better than SJ so defense again will determine the outcome. That said, I fully expect the usual suspects to have early foul trouble.

If we lose this game, we are probably going to end up going 0-8 in conference unless we beat butler. 0-8! Many were talking about going 11-7 and we might go 0-8!

Bottom line is this team has to win a close game and gain some confidence in doing so. Some speculate beating Dartmouth was a confidence boost, I don't think so.

We don't have the capability of blowing any BE team out, so if we can't figure out how to win close games we aren't going to win any conference games.

This game will be close down the stretch (unless of course we get blown out, I don't think that happens) so we are going to have to make the nessecary plays to get the win.


If we do so, the team should have some confidence going into the road stand, which should bode well for us.
