Seton Hall - 2nd Game

Their second and third chances are destroying our otherwise better game.
It seems they try a 3 or get a put back on every set
 
21-11 on the glass in favor of SHU. Can't win that way. Keep them off the glass and we are up by 15. They aren't hitting their shots.
 
Seton Hall's Freshman are outplaying and outhustling our Seniors right now even though the game is tied. If our guys play with the sense of urgency that they should be playing with at this juncture in the season we should win this game but currently I don't see it from them.

Jack, they are outrebounding us horribly and we are not blocking out at all 9Seton Hall second chance points).. We are also not closing out on three point shots defensively. What else would you call it?
 
We are fortunate to be leading at the half. Need to pick up the defensive and rebounding intensity to pull this out.
 
Obviously we are winning and there is a half left but to give up 40 points to SHU is just inexplicable to me.

Agreed gman, rebounding and defense is all about effort, intensity and positioning. If we pick it up in the second half we win this game by 10 points.
 
I want to see these Seniors breathing fire in the second half!! We need this game!
 
Considering our size getting out rebounded isn't really a surprise. Just need to position and block out better. Overall Shooting the ball well but defense could be better. Seton hall playing like they need a win. We need to pull together and come out strong in the 2nd half.
 
i hope we aren't in the last minute with the season riding on the outcome.
We need to be up six or seven at least near the finish for my heart,s sake.
