I think I'm going with the theory floated here that Jack is really a middle-aged man. Went into hiding after the walls started to close in on his story about becoming a St. John's student.

Okay, regardless of results it's that time of year! I'm throwing off my cynic's veil and getting Pollyanna excited about the season like I always do. Go Fred! Go Malik! You two make me eat crow! Gotta plan a trip to see them, I think I'm going to be in town for the BET first round and quarterfinals. I'm now going to shift to my over ambitious positivity. Bring on the season!

Was told Marcus LoVett and Tariq Owens stood out for St. John's in scrimmage and Ahmed and Ponds were more quiet.

Told Jarvis Garrett, Jared Terrell, Hassan Martin and Kuran Iverson all played very well for No. 23 Rhody vs SJU

Still coming out flat in first half will cost us a few games. In other words, we lost by 13 today in front of a big home crowd. That's it! Season will be another bust and not hiring Hurley was a huge mistake! How are we going to compete for the national title this year with results like today? Slice was obviously a big loss. On a positive note it was standing room only!

Hearing URI played its starters between 18-24 mins in today's scrimmage v St John's and was up double digits before emptying bench late

Down 24 when they took their starters out does not sound very competitive as per earlier reports. Must have been our AD's opinion.
