Season Tickets

Brian, hope you post more. You are one of the few posters that provide substance rather than fluff. Enjoyed hanging with the 114 crew last year for the Wagner game at CA. Reminiscing with you and Ralph about the good old SJU days was priceless.
Brian who I've known now for a little over 5 years (we met via a Covid Zoom roundup of a few Johnny fans, including esteemed Monte, White Chocolate, NYC sports Photographer extraordinaire Wendell, and others) and I respect Brian's opinion greatly.

We have our disagreements, but always we respect each other's opinion, and occasionally even change the other guy's mind about something.

Having said that--- OLV72 is and always will be a true devoted, die-hard Johnny fan supporting his (and our) team to the bitter end.

We enjoyed last season immensely and look forward to more good times to come, this upcoming season and beyond, whatever the future holds after CRP, we'll still be here.

I picked earlier today. Long story short, I ended up moving back one row from last year at both CA and MSG, neither of which bothers me at all. If I didn't care about having seats on the aisle, I could have moved up. I do like the fact that even before your time to pick, you get to see what is available, so if you are picking for multiple people and want to run the game plan by them, you can.

One note of warning... if you are picking, say, 4 seats, and the best available is a block of 5, don't bother with it. You can't leave a single seat by itself. I tried and it wouldn't let me.

I have never been accused of being a SJU AD apologist. Having a different read/opinion on this is all part of candid dialogue imo. Have a good weekend, time for me to apply mascara to my pet pig “Eddie”. 😇
Does anyone know what the $750 donation in the price of our tickets represents?

I just picked my seats. Heads up for people. If the spot you want has 3 seats together ,you can not pick 2.
You have to get 3. Same 5 you can not pick 4. I guess it makes sense but I wasn’t aware of that.
The time allotment is plenty of time
Yes as noted above you cannot pick seats that will leave a single open. I wound up sacrificing 3 rows because of that but i fully understand the rationale and have no issue with it.

I choose my seats last Monday at 3:30. Did well, was able to upgrade at CA, although it wasnt easy to leave the seats I since I was kid. My 60 year old back told me to get seatbacks.
MSG was where I had an issue, not with the seats I selected but the process. Since the reconfiguration of MSG my seats were great, 117 row 7 mid court could never ask for better. Last monday checked out the selection on My johnnies at 8:30 my seats were gone already. Stll got good ones a few rows back in sec 118. A little annoying that you could add seats to what you had in the past and people could jump the line. We actually had 6 seats for 40 that we reduced to 4, 6 years ago because on the slight chance I couldn't make a game i was eating the tickets because nobody wanted to go for free.

during our very dark days, I had 8 MSG only S-Tix and had to bribe people to go with me to the games, more than once we left Keens at halftime to watch us lose (again). Those same 8 seats were hotter than hot during the Mullin, Wennington, Berry, Jackson years.

Curtis Johnson just didn't bring the juice like Walter Berry did.

Except in the second half of that game against nd. :)
