Season Tickets

As I mentioned earlier, the pricing is for the equivalent seating at both venues. First 5 or so rows at CA translate to first 5 or so behind the benches at MSG, which are indeed astronomical . But I looked at both venues separately and you can mix and match. My equivalent seats this year will cost about $1,850 or so, up from about $1,400 last year. Sections 9 and 108.
I absolutely understand what they are doing and think it’s reasonable considering

I just wish they made exceptions for groups of friends that have sat together since Norm

If 114 becomes 214 because of staggered pick times I’m moving my seats up to our crew

We all knew prices were going up. Pretty much everyone knew. I don’t feel bad for myself because we sat off to the side. But let’s be fair. Even if you donated you had to expect tickets in the lower center to go up a lot that was the whole point of the reseating just like IDRAFT said it’s no different than any professional team. It still works out to great value but you aren’t getting moved to the 300s so after the initial shock and anger welcome to the common people

There is no link. For those that watch “The Bear”, when it comes to season tickets fan since 65 is the ‘Computer.”
Thanks but there was one before. I figure’d I’d try to jump the line guessing that SJU would’ve screwed it up. The CA chart allowed me to select seats (with prices showing) but there was no cart to send them to. Showed I had 30 minutes to finalize the purchase. Meanwhile, on the MSG seat site, I hovered over seats (also with prices) but a pop up showed it wasn’t my time slot yet.

Then poof! Both are gone. So I was partially correct that SJU did somehow mess it up but not fully.

I just heard from the ticket office, there seems to be a mix of error plus other stuff going on.

The preview pricing is essentially if you pick seats in the same spot at MSG and CA tier wise. But there's a chance that your seats at MSG and CA are not in the same tier so that pricing doesn't line up.

Lets see what happens when it's time to pick seats. I'll report back on Tuesday when I pick if there's anything of significance
I pick Monday, your feedback wont help me. LOL.

If you go to the MSG seating site for selection, the seats right behind the bench are $7,375. So I think the lower seats at CA are being conflated with those at MSG. My section 108 seats (where you are as well) are $1,458 each., at CA (section 9), they are $425 each.

Although it seems that the option to view sections has miraculously disappeared.
I sit in Sec 9, middle level at CA and 117 at MSG. I did some math based on last years pricing and came up with just about the same numbers as you have shown using 30% increase. When i first went on virtual site, i almost s^^^ my pants with the pricing. NEVER easy.

Did they totally remove the seat selection on My Johnnies? I don't have that currently as an option.
Yes, it looks like they did remove it. Not surprising. Why they didn't test the rollout with actual season ticket holders is crazy. On 1/1/2000, the bank I worked for asked for volunteers to check our computer systems. Paid us some money and lunch for a few hours. I would have done the same to test this stupid thing.

Spoke with the ticket office late this afternoon, the tiers are being rolled out via email blast on Sunday/Monday to all of us . This will guide everyone and help decide whether or not we'd like to retain respective locations or move up if desired should you have the ability to when selecting next week.

It's a slippery slope. Say for instance you are picking on Monday or Tuesday and have been seated in the same section for +20 years, do you elect to move up 20 rows bc you have the ability to, keep in mind you're subject to -

A) Gold to Platinum seating price increase.
B) YOY overall % ticket price increase.

I would assume most will stay where they are as most of us have wanted all along. The incentive of moving into an upgraded seating tier would be in the minority given the double whammy tax from my guess.

Jesus this might be the most well thought out post since White Chocolate said we were beating UConn at UConn days before the gane

Great job ! And you are right it’s not just where you sit but what about your lifelong buddies who pick after you ?

For me it’s easy. I’ll change my seats if need be and I’m going wherever our 114 crew who picks later goes

Once we get over this hump it's smooth sailing to our preseason Top3 ranking and Bama Garden Saturday! When was the last time that we have been preseason top 3 if ever?

Does this refer to staying at the same level (Gold, Silver, etc) or actually keepling your same location from last year?
