Season Tickets

If this pricing is accurate...then this is like 300x more expensive than my tickets in the same sections last year...and that's not 25-30% as stated in emails prior.

Hoping to get some clarity but this is jarring and shocking...
If you go to the MSG seating site for selection, the seats right behind the bench are $7,375. So I think the lower seats at CA are being conflated with those at MSG. My section 108 seats (where you are as well) are $1,458 each., at CA (section 9), they are $425 each.

Although it seems that the option to view sections has miraculously disappeared.

Where is a link for that?

It’s now gone. When I log into my account, the tab for “Seat Selection” is now missing. This morning everything was viewable. The CA part allowed me to select seats but there was no link to a cart. The MSG part that led me that my time wasn’t up yet after I hovered over seats.

I think we need to get Ed Kull on an emergency Eye of the Storm Pod to explain…
I have to assume this is a major error...there's no way that tickets are jumping from $2200 to $7800 that's insane...going to chalk this up to some kind of a tech error and wait till next week hoping things are fixed...

A tech error with SJU is always a possibility. But if SJU follows the model of every team I have had season tickets with since the early 1980s the price increases for the "best" seats will be much more (on a percentage basis) than other locations.

Looks like we will be close to knowing very soon.

Is a 1 page seating chart with prices too much of an ask for the Ticket Office (see Marquette pricing from last year below)? The lack of transparency over pricing seems to be shady and folks that share tickets with others need to plan what’s in their budget prior to seat selection….

I suspect the pricing shown is accurate, and it includes both CA and MSG. However they do not give you a seat selector for MSG, they are only demo-ing the CA and then you move on to MSG from there. It doesn't make a ton of sense because what if you choose cheaper seats at one place than the other - unless they restrict your MSG selection based on the band you chose at CA.

I don't expect clarity until the actual selection begins and people have experience with it and can report back.

The thing is with multiple messups just calculating priority points what will they do if some sth's can't tickets and by the time it gets straightened out their seats are gone? What a damned nightmare. They should have had a dry run, iron out the bugs and be ready to go for real only then.

I just heard from the ticket office, there seems to be a mix of error plus other stuff going on.

The preview pricing is essentially if you pick seats in the same spot at MSG and CA tier wise. But there's a chance that your seats at MSG and CA are not in the same tier so that pricing doesn't line up.

Lets see what happens when it's time to pick seats. I'll report back on Tuesday when I pick if there's anything of significance

Increase on all tickets is expected that's fine, going from 3k for two seats to 10k plus is astronomical

Panicked when we saw the pricing as well. My buddy called the ticket office and the young man that he spoke to helped out. Basically we told him the seats we had at Carnesecca and at the Garden. We told him last year we paid about $1130 a ticket for our package and he calculated, using the same seats, our new cost would be about $1480 a seat.... about a 30% increase. He explained you can mix and match your seats at Carnesecca and the Garden. When you have your selection call you will select your Carnesecca seats and then cross over to the Garden layout to select those seats. This is what he was told.... let's hope he was right. Hope it helps a little.

As I mentioned earlier, the pricing is for the equivalent seating at both venues. First 5 or so rows at CA translate to first 5 or so behind the benches at MSG, which are indeed astronomical . But I looked at both venues separately and you can mix and match. My equivalent seats this year will cost about $1,850 or so, up from about $1,400 last year. Sections 9 and 108.
