San Fran Game Reception

flight from laguardia was canceled this morning due to mechanical problems. They put us on a 7am flight to Atlanta. Our connecting plane got delayed and then when we were on the runway the fuel pump malfunctioned. We had to go back to the gate and wait for another plane. Literally just got to Sonoma. Been up since 3am.

We better win tuesday:)

mj, I hope you got a fistful of vouchers for future trips.

The worst is a trip interrupt...that is when you are actually in the air and you think you are on your way...only to return back to your original destination for mechanical problems. Happened to us this summer going from JFK to Montego Bay and it sucked. One full hour of flying and we were right back where we started from. Aviation has those moments unfortunately. At least now most airlines make up for it (kind of).

Enjoy your trip. Hopefully they win. It will be our best quality win so far this young season...San Fran has a 66 RPI...we have a 26.

They tried with $6 airport meal credits. Then right before we finally boarded they told us they were going to give us $50 credits toward future flights. But I had 2 flights canceled so if I write a letter I'll get more

Thx ! Lot of rain here and flooding but I think todays going to be fun. And I think the weather tomorrow for napa is going to be a little better.

I had some travel problems too.

Slept in today and went to Raiders game. Had to shower twice after I got back haha.

Tomorrow I want to see Alcatraz and probably hitting Warriors game up at night. Though I'm tempted to bag that and just watch Giants game at a bar.

I know Ted and me were planning to go out prior to the reception on Tuesday.
 
How about any suggestions for 'must' eats at the Raiders game? I am a big foodie and always look for stadium specialities if they have such.

A friend of mine always gets ribs there, but I've never had them, nor do I know if he gets them from a specific vendor.

Thanks for the suggestion. While I didn't go with the ribs (hard to eat while wandering around), I found a great bbq sandwich at kinder I think it was called. Thanks again.

Rained when I got here late Sat night but nothing at all yesterday. Today looks fine too. Heard it was supposed to be bad but so far so good

Was Nasty. Pouring yesterday in Sonoma flash floods etc.

Then around 12pm as soon as we were going to go out to the wineries the clouds went away and it was literally a perfect days for the wineries.

Some things happen for a reason

Heading out now to Napa to meet our redmen.com great friends Traczok and Lisa and do the wineries there.

Sun is out again and it's going to be an eventful day

I just returned from 2 1/2 months in Japan on Saturday and am overcoming worst jet lag I've ever had -- getting old is only better than the alternative. Plan is to fly up around one, meet with my son and go straight to the reception. After the game, Tommy and I would like to tag along with the crew for a beer at Toronado or wherever you end up.

Looking forward to first look at team tomorrow night and seeing all of you who are in SF!
