SAMPSON & POINTER come thru in OT

I said it last year and it has been pointed out by others but Dom is on the Postell path. A guy who improved every year for four years and became a major factor to a strong team as a senior.

Agreed. And in addition Postell also had that infectious energy, as Dom does .

I loved Postell and understand the similarities pointed on this board, however, I believe Dom to be wayyyy ahead of Postell at this point in Postell's career. I actually believe that Dom has much more of an upside than others think. His comment about believing he's the baddest player on the court every game, is the difference between this year and last year. His athleticism has always been off the charts, but his confidence and basketball IQ at this level was lagging. I'm going out on a limb and predicting that Pointer will win C7 player of the year in his senior year EVEN if Otto Porter Jr. stays all 4 years.

LOL

Otto Porter will be a second year NBA player by the time Dom is a senior. Postell was much more skilled than Dom. I love Dom's energy, but l am taking a wait and see approach. He needs to show me he can do this against the top teams in the league.

The best thing Dom has done this year is knowing his limitations offensively. I see Dom as a bigger Paris Horne.

It's easy to state that past players are better (more talented) than current players, but their stats are fairly comparable in the first two years. I'll agree to disagree and enjoy watching Dom's career play out.
