Rysheed

I thought it was pretty obvious that the post was saying his time in college is over.
I read his post, it was in all CAPS. I couldn't tell if he was leaving. Seems like he needs another year in school but he will be drafted

Rysheed definitely wrote that I've been reading stuff he wrote for two years now and I can tell he wrote that

You couldn't ever drive when you first started reading his posts.....yet somehow you are an expert in analyzing what they mean?

First of all, I don't know what me being able to drive has to do with being able to analyze readings, they start you off doing that in 1st grade. It's not hard.

Second of all, I'm in no way analyzing what he means with the post. I have no knowledge whether he will be back or won't. All I'm saying is I've followed rysheed on twitter for a long time and have gotten used to the way he writes. He misspells certain words the same way, and I can tell that he wrote that post. And obviously he did. What friend would go on and start thanking teammates and coaches? No one.

Nice job with the response, Jack. Sometimes I have a hard time believing you are just a high school kid. Then again, sometimes I have a hard time believing some of our other posters aren't high school kids.

I really appreciate the comments beast. I find it funny that jumbo peanuts found out about my age like two weeks ago and has been making snarky comments ever since. "Isn't it past your bedtime" "you couldn't even drive two years ago".

Luckily everybody on here with the exception of jumbo has always respected my opinions that I always give and not thought less of it just because I'm younger than most on the board. I'm going to go to college and try to become a lawyer but my true dream is to write about sports. So coming on here and discussing opinions is something I really enjoy doing.

Where is my PM?

Thinking about Rysheed's progress this season, at this point I would conclude he is not enough of anything to be serious about an NBA career at this juncture.

I guess we'd call him a combo guard, but while he can make the exceptional pass, in no way has he shown any talent of running an offense. There are true points that are maestros at executing an offense, directing activity, moving the ball with precision to keep defenses off balance and in the wrong place - that's not Jordan's forte whatsoever.

As a 2, while Jordan has moments of brilliance, he is not money in the bank as an outside shooter, and too often goes to the hoop where there is nowhere to go. He doesn't have dazzling moves where he leaves his man at the foul line. It's more his use of the euro step (i.e. travelling) that confuses a defender, gets him an extra step where his length surprises defenders to get off a shot.

In both instances he still has a long way to go in his development. As soon as he leaves SJU for Europe, the d-League or wherever, the bloom is off the rose, and he will become like dozens if not hundreds of guards trying to forge a path to the NBA.

Advice - Sheed should work like hell on improving his game, and SJU is the best lab for that.

It's hard to be maestro of an offense when the team doesn't run an offense.....unless you think an offense is passing it around of the perimeter until there are 10 seconds left on the shot clock, and then either going one on one or waiting for a ball screen.

A few muscles and he can be a 4, by necessity of course.
