Very interesting flying from LaGuardia to Fort Lauderdale having no clue about the game, then landing diwn 7 at the start of the second half and leaning on you guys & your posts to follow along...image what was happening:

WOW, first of Felix made up for his missed FT's by committing a foul and not getting called for it.

Next, I don't know why the announcers were killing Jones for going for the lay up. There was a guy right behind him he was going to get fouled anyway for for the lay.

there is a lot of night in those kids.

this is going to be a fun year to watch the Johnnies with little expectations.
 
Win or lose, this was a good game, but much better with a win. What a gritty group. That being said, each player should shoot 500 free throws tonight before heading home.
 
A great win for this group! Great to see them pull this out without Ellison and Williams. Johnson also had a bad game so it was good to see them overcome that.

Balamou looked a lot like Jerian Grant at ND last year. All over the court making the great passes and hustle plays.

It was also great to see LoVett right in he middle of that celebration at mid court looking really happy to be with these guys. Crowd was great tonight as well!

loved coach telling them to just play and that we are alright.
 
The record books will show a W. Unless they took public transit, I would try to get on the road before those refs leave CA. Not saying their eyesight isn't great or anything but a trip to Pearle Vision wouldn't go amiss...

I still wanted Jones to dribble to the corner to take more time off the clock. Probably would have left 4 seconds on the clock for Rutgers.
 
The end game officiating was abysmal. Hope Eddie has a pack of Marlboro's on him, cuz he just got screwed. I feel dirty. Those 2 non calls were horrendous.

That was a pretty bad non call on that play for Rutgers. Very fortunate that wasn't called.

Oh hush. Even if a foul was called. Rutgers was bricking them left and right. A win is a win.

Up 16, Rutgers has no one to blame but themselves to let it come down to one play. Bad calls are part of the game and go on all game, can't just zero in on one at the end of the game.

we've gotten screwed by ref's so many times over the years and the ncaa too bad. I'll take it tonight
