It was reported that it was an eye infection, if that was incorrect so be it. But lets assume for a second that you're report isn't bullshit, please explain how an ankle injury would have prevented him from being on the bench to support his teammates?

Very disappointed with the Maven and his approach all season. When one of your sources is master fabricator Marco Baldi or Ricky Smith as he is known here, the end result is your credibility takes a hit.

Sammy doing what he does best! Burning up the wireless wires to ask probing questions always keen to acquire a certain response. Typically it goes along these lines: "whatya got 4 me? " " I heard so and so say....is it true?" Then spin it to crucify Lavin. I feel for a couple of old St. John's insiders being used as tools in the process. I suspect a couple of these soon to be retired folks have nothing to lose since they are being told they are on a sinking ship. Zero positive voice of support for the team. ZERO! This where I break ranks in the crusade. Nothing like putting out fires with gasoline.

It was a ruse to throw off SDSU. They will prepare for an SJU team not featuring Jones, Stewart and Lipscomb, only for our crafty coach to start all three.

The problem with pathological liars and sociopaths looking for attention is the Internet is an easy medium to abuse and the toxic effect on innocent people is irrelevant to them as long as they are given the same platform over and over again.
You can't control what these sociopaths spew on Twitter but privately controlled fan forums need to be more careful about throwing names under the bus via toxic posters bent on one goal and that is to get Lavin fired. Clearly Jungle Dave has given Marco Baldi that forum and has given him free reign.
There has been much better control here on Redmen.com since there are a few objective level-headed moderators like Mkras99, Kranmars and especially Paul to balance discussions
The fact remains that even pathological liars get caught in their lies yet deny them not knowing they leave evidence trails for all to see. Marco Baldi on JJ denied ever slandering students by name on JJ.
Unfortunately, those names got repeated here and ultimately made its way across the internet. While some folks with agendas and personal dislikes of fellow posters here worry about innocuous words taken out of context to break chops they had no problem allowing kids to be slandered by name.
Next time you hit the "like" button because it tarnishes our coach think of who you are concurring with and realize that after 14,400 anti St, John's posts some you would pick better friends.
Social media defamation is a basis for legal action and some that hide behind screen names are not unknown or invisible to legal action. The Maven has been doing it blatantly lately by covertly assigning hash tags to his targets but the intended targets are clear as day. Even if true regarding these students their civil rights have been violated unless their names were released legally by the university.

Just got confirmation from high level source at SJU that all 4(Obekpa,Jones,Stewart and Lipscomb) are in fact suspended for failing their 2nd drug tests. More big news coming tonight, stay tuned

All I know, is CO will be back for our Elite Eight game!

I assumed we are all adults here. This "rumor" post is a bit much if it's in fact incorrect. I am 100% certain that Libscomb received phone calls from friends/family. This was uncalled for and embarrassing.

Ouch brother, I thought he was suspended until the 29th. We are the Friday games, stands to reason when we make the ELITE EIGHT we'd be the game on the 29th. Could be wrong, dont' want to be startin' rumors. Go Johnnies!!
