Roster for this year

Who are the 2 players on either end? Are those the Delarosa brothers?

Yes, adonis far right.
Ugh. I was hoping that was Joey.

Watched him play a few months, to say he was out of shape is an understatement.

He's big and people who've watched him like his hands And I think they liked his footwork too, slow as it may be. But I assume he's 18 or 19 and the staff can't follow him around with a salad fork 24-7. At some point he will need to take some personal responsibility with regard to his body in order to be the best player he can be. If he can do it, I think he can be an asset. If not . . . we'll need a sturdy bench.

Spot on post. ADR needs to commit to getting in game shape. Up to now he has not done that.

IMO the kid works hard and was pushed hard by his High School coach. But getting in the kind of shape he'll need to be in to play at this level will not come easy with his body type. Having said that, there's always room for improvement.
He's never going to be fast, but he needs to firm up......a lot. Here's hoping he makes the kind of commitment and sacrifices that he'll need to make in order to play a significant roll on this team down the road. Otherwise we'll be longing for the days of Cujo.

He'll meet lots of girls on campus, I'm hoping he gets hooked up with Jenny Craig.

Remind me, who on this roster not named Harrison is going to score?

Coach Lavin doesn't appear to be worried about the offense. Maybe his secret plan to keep them in the game is to add more pitching to the roster.

We have 10 current scholarship players right now out of a total of 13 maximum allowed. However we will lose 4 scholarship players to graduation this year and two more next year. Additionally there is a belief by many that Jordan does not intend to come back after his sophomore season this year. Even excluding players leaving for other reasons. the team will look very different next year and even more different the year after next.

To me this year is a very important season for the program. I think the team needs to win enough to make the tournament with this senior class. Hopefully this will help give more positive exposure to prospective recruits. Lavin's first team that made the tournament boosted our profile nationally and helped add to the recruiting of that number three rated class a bit. After three years of incremental improvement, it is important to make a leap forward and show that we are relevant enough to be an NCAA tournament team. This is important for the legacy of this group and also for the ability to grow the program moving forward.

I am posting what I think is our roster going forward. Please correct any errors
