Those of you going to Syracuse, make certain to carry a snow shovel with you.
I made 4 trips up there to see SJU play in the late 50's and early 60's until I moved there in '73 and saw every game for thirty years. It hasn't always snowed but it's more than a 60/40 possibility. There have been some monster storms on game day. I remember two vividly. In the early 60's we once had to walk to Manley field house in 1 1/2 feet of snow, a distance of 3-4 miles from the Hotel Syacuse. .On top of that, we lost. Around 2000, the snow was so bad that the team bus could not get up the hill. Some stJ fans in our party had to take the players off the bus and deliver them to the dome. People up there know how to drive in that stuff.
I'm serious, be prepared for bad snow and hope for a cloudy 40 degree day. That's the only choices
