Roadtrip to Cuse 12/6/14

Very interested depending on what time we leave and from where. SJU Alumni association usually supplies tickets when there is a reception involved. Location of seats sometimes leaves much to be desired and sometimes are great. It's a crapshoot.

Ill be there but going from Saratoga.

Is there enough of us to get a charter from Saratoga. Lol

haha actually last year we found out there was quite a few of us from saratoga on these boards.

Saratoga in my favorite town in NY. Do you go to the track a lot? Its killing me not being there for the Whitney today.

How about a road trip to MSG so we can dive up the attendance numbers! Ha, ha. I'm interested, but can't commit just yet. If we have trouble getting to 50, would suggest including kids. I have two teens that would join me.

I go about 5-10 times a summer. Was gonna head out there today but my friday night killed any chance of that happening haha

I hear ya, my friends and I rent a house on Clinton street for the meet. Track has got to be packed today.

I'd be interested in sitting with the group at the game but it'd probably make more sense for me to drive myself since the meeting spot would probably be in the opposite direction of Cuse for me.

last time st johns had this many early commitments was Lavins 1st year here

I think I saw around 36K, but that might be counting the season pass holders who don't show up.

Nice SJU event at Saratoga this Saturday, 8/9. A sizable number of alumni and supporters go to St.John's day at the track each year and it's great fun. The Albany alumni chapter has sponsored it for ten or more years. Contact the alumni office at SJU to see if the enrollment is still open if you choose to go. It's under $100 and includes a fine unlimited buffet w/ non-alcohol drinks in an air conditioned tent at the finish line, admission, programs, and usually some SJU trinkets.
The best is the good folks and great conversation and even Mike Repole stopped by to give us some tips and chat about horse racing last year.
It's also a chance for your lady to put on her big hat and dress up for the event as is the custom at Saratoga but, even though there is no dress requirement, the fashion show is always as spectacular as the races.

Sounds like you'll all have a great time, especially now that Syracuse has been named the #1 party school in the country!

Poor planning on my part.

Hosting a BBQ at my house for incoming St. John's freshman on Saturday and a fundraiser for Cardinal Hayes on Sunday.

Understand several members of the Board of Trustee's and Board of Governor's will be at Saratoga.
