Rick Pitino on retirement timeline: ‘I have 3-5 more years’

“I’m enjoying it now more than ever in my lifetime,” Pitino said via SNY. “Because it’s New York, it’s where I started, I’m back home. And I understand I’m going to be 73 years of age even though I act like I’m 35. But I realize I have three, five more years. Bang on some wood. So why not enjoy it? Why not have a blast? And why not try to be the best you possibly can be? So I have more passion, more hunger, more drive than ever before.”

Maybe our biggest recruiting development is Rick telling Steve Gelbs he's having more fun than ever and has 3-5 years left

Who’s the guy wearing 45? He looks like a real competitor, but also like he’s on his 30th year of eligibility. I get the feeling that watching him play might give this Johnny a Heart Attack.
All i know is that back when Alumni Hall was open all day for students to play basketball, the baseball players were the worst hackers, by far.
