Being old school, I get the narrative that we are placing huge targets on our backs. Louie would always avoid such situations, constantly mentioning the maloik to protect when his teams were highly praised. “Don’t put the horns on us” was another favorite of mine.

However times have changed. Up to date, this team defies all logic. Cameras watching their every move since last summer. No problem. Top 10 ranking, Big East regular season champs. Winning several games while shooting 30s from field, 20s from 3 and 60s from the line. I don’t see these outside public distractions changing their will to win or refusal to lose.

The target is on our back, Fallon or not. We’re the big opponent teams need to beat to either solidify their seeding or make the tournament. This changes nothing.
