I don’t think this will impact him. This HAS to get done. I don’t think the school has any options left.

Pitino is pretty good at pivoting on anything the press throws at him. CMA needs to just walk away. He got mad money doing a sub-par job at best.

Yeah, rich people aren’t entitled to realize the benefits of their contracts. Screw em! In fact, there should be a law that says if you make more than $300k, you can’t enforce your contract! Under that rationale, the guy who sold me my house can demand I give it to him back and my tenants can stop paying the rent. Makes total sense
I can’t comment on the schools legal matters and it has nothing to do with me. I’m thrilled to be at St John’s and build this team into a National Champion
It has nothing to do with him, that is a matter between the School and Anderson and that is how he (or anyone else that were hired) would deflect the question.

Monte, I was not talking about comments over the years. There were a lot of disrespectful comments directed at Coach Carnesecca during the past year. First, he was not involved in the hiring of Coach Anderson as some on here mistakenly stated. Second, he did cosign the hiring of Chris Mullin whom most on here were pushing because they could not stand Lavin. Third, Coach Carnesecca was not involved in the hiring of Steve Lavin. Fourth, Coach went out to dinner with Norm Roberts, Harrington, and other Administrators before Norm was hired, but the decision to hire Norm was Father Harrington's.
I have known Coach Carnesecca since I was in high school, and have nothing but respect and admiration for him. So when I see posters on a message board attacking a 98 year old man who has no way of answering these posts, I take it personally.

Would you just walk away from $10M that you felt you were rightfully owed? If the school's only argument is that he was a "sub-par" coach, then they are losing that legal battle every single time. Maybe the school should just pay it and walk away.
Growing up in an Italian family I’ve always drank tiny Little espresso based coffees. I don’t drink American coffee at all.
I’m not a big coffee guy personally.
I had a bit of a drive back to Brooklyn after spending a weekend with my parents. That’s actually a giant soda to get me through the drive haha.
Finally home now and see Cooley to GTown and beef between the school and Mike Anderson.
