Seems to be invading more and more posters but some are so infatuated with me they are concerning themselves with that instead of the alarming issues.And I think you need to ask yourself where all the negativity is coming from.
Alleyne, with national championship experience, probably won’t be talented or tall enough or incapable of serving as primary ball handler for us.

Having met some posters, Larry Wright poster is top 5 pick.Good looking guy, former D1 athlete and still in good shape. Not so much others I met. In the pokey most of you would be in big trouble. I would think most would want to be my bitch.
Off top of head, Marillac looked like may have done a cycle or two. KOB was a big dude, that’s about it.

Everybody, most especially L Wright, ought to take a step back on their certainty about the talent level being signed on so far. Pitino has a long track record of getting every ounce of talent out of players.
Billy Donovan had an early conversation with him at Providence about transferring to Fairfield and when coach P investigated that for him, they didn’t even want him. So, coach challenges him to stay and work hard, leaving no doubt that you did everything you could to be your absolute best. We all know what happened. There are other instances like this too. So this certainty about the talent level not being good enough might be right, but I wouldn’t bet on it.
Look at the roster of college teams he coached every year. Nowhere near the ranked players coach K got. Russ Smith was a 3 star player.

Coincidently, Cruz reminds me of Alleyne. Could be a good guy to learn from and then replace.

I like Cruz upside more actually
Played 17.9 minutes per game at UConn this year, 5.2 PPG and 87.1% FT%. If we land him and a couple more we may be one of the best FT shooting teams in the country (or at least much, much better than any St. John's team in recent memory).
Didn’t miss a free throw in the tourney. Averaged just over 7 points in a little under 20 minutes per during the run.
He was 6/11 from 3 through the elite 8. But he was 0-8 from 3 in the final 4 & NC game.
Alleyne had some solid years at Vtech too. Would love if Cruz becomes better just think they have similar game and similar strengths. Both slimmer lefties with a little unorthodox release. I’ll wait for your shooting form review.
Maybe it was a bit drafty in the Alamodome.
