Amazing. Wilcher and Glover would be a fierce backcourt duo.So Glover just about done for Johnnies & guess Matt takes a swing at Ian, but it feels like long shot w him staying at UNC. That’s fine imo.

He's already in high school at a top-flight program. Super easy for coaches to spot the talent by this age.I have low bball IQ but is it normal to offer a kid a D1 scholarship when they are this young? How can you judge talent at this age?
Plus an offer from a school isn’t binding. Brady Dunlap in his behind the scenes YouTube video discussed how he had a an offer from Kansas a couple years ago. He hurt his ankle junior year and didn’t have a great state tournament. Kansas stopped responding to his texts as did UCLA and USC. So he really didn’t have the offers despite getting the offers. He got healthy senior year and recruiting picked up again. He's already in high school at a top-flight program. Super easy for coaches to spot the talent by this age.
Stuff like ranking fifth graders is another story completely though.
Jeez, they were ghosting him like they were teen girls.Plus an offer from a school isn’t binding. Exactly. As a coach’s son, he understood the process. Dunlap himself said that he hit some game winning shots while injured but understood the skepticism since he “wasn’t moving well.” Then he got healthy and had a great senior year and the offers rolled in again. Dunlap in the same video said the coach was his number 1 priority in recruiting after that. Enter Pitino!Jeez, they were ghosting him like they were teen girls.
Maybe that's something else that drew him to us. I think Rick can BS with the best off them, but he seems like a straight shooter with regard to your role.
Of course . Dunlap was seen by many as a top tier player . He choose ND but , like most kids , when Brey “ Retired,” he was free to open up Recruiting .Exactly. Perhaps, still hunting his Prey?Rick was in Greece the last week of June. In an interview when he was there he noted he would return later in summer
I’m not sure if this account is legit or not but…Perhaps, still hunting his Prey?
Perhaps, still hunting his Prey?
Couldn't Prey be for next year?
Wondering maybe he will be a 24’ kid to replace Soriano and get bigger and stronger to maybe put himself on NBA draft boards. Prey is very talented but needs work still and strength etc.Maybe, but thought he was going pro, but who knows what Rick is doing lol
AgreeZach texted on June 21st, "Barring a change or a new portal addition, St. John's roster is now set for next year. Overseas target is not going to happen for this coming season."
That would coincide with the Greek reporter's timeline. I may be overthinking it, but I read that to mean Prey isn't coming this year but the door is open for next season (or else he could've just said not happening). I'd imagine the international stuff is more complicated with eligibility and what not.

Let's just marry Prey to a hot chick here for the green cardNIL is a whole lot more difficult for foreign college athletes.
The non US citizen “student athlete” attends college in the US on a student visa which prevents the athlete from working or earning money thereby preventing the foreign NIL recipient from accepting the money.
As an end run, one or more college programs have scheduled a basketball tournament or preseason game in the student athletes home country where the student athletes performs som service for the money paid to him/ her.
