If we don’t get MM or another starting caliber PF, I can also see RJ playing the 4 sometimes . But with Ware, we won’t be forced to pigeon-hole anyone. Ware playing anywhere between 10-25 minutes depending on the matchup and Soriano foul trouble makes sense

No doubt. Every recruit is not gonna be an All American. But yea, that size is needed and he was good enough to go to Kentucky. Maybe a change of scenery and more PT he can help. We’ll see.

I think Ware would be a really good get. He and Dingle filling out our roster would be great. Whosever the last ship goes to would be a bonus.

Also, apparently a first class kid. Calipari said he was welcome back if he didn't find the right fit and that his wife would be devastated because Ware was her favorite player.

Ware really didn’t get a shot. He averaged 12.1 mpg as a freshman with 3 starts and then they brought in Oscar Tshiebwe who put up absolutely ludicrous #s for two years: 17.4 points and 15.2 rebounds as a junior and 16.5 and 13.7 as a senior in 34 mpg.

You have to wonder what Joel would have done there since they weren’t going to be playing together. I would think Joel would have been a 10 or less mpg guy there. Which is just insane and really highlights the importance of being in the right roster situation.

Mack and Ware are pretty different players. Ware could see 20 mpg even if Mack somehow winds up here
