Redmen Dot Com Love/Hate Relationships

Must have been 1983 or '84, and there was wrestling being held at Canarsie HS in Brooklyn. I was a kid and don't remember exactly who was supposed to be there, but a wrestler didn't show so Frankie Williams ended up wrestling twice.... and lost both times...šŸ˜†
SD Jones was the best jobber of all time. He was actually pretty good. Btw they billed him for Philadelphia and was supposed to be like a Joe Frazier boxer and he spoke with a Jamaican accent.

lol you are soo right. Bucketshardy probably has me by an inch but Iā€™m like 20 years older so in my prime him and white chocolate were same size but you definitely gotta be the tallest on the site absent of a player with a screen name
yea Bucketshardy definitely was a surprise when we took a picture at one of the St. John's games.

Someone I know has you beat in the hate department as he was a Knick fan until they got Ewing then still hated Ewing and turned on the Knicks and started rooting against them.

Add to that, the Knicks selecting Fredrick Weiss over Ron Artist as the 15th pick in the 1999 NBA draft which had Knick/St Johnā€™s fans infuriated and Chicago fans (who got him) jumping for joy, and can you blame the guy?

Frederick Weiss never played a minute in the NBA. šŸ¤Ŗ

Thought he was made up until Vince Carter jumped over him in Olympics.

The fact that I didn't make the list makes me realize I'm not the poster I used to be.

Speaking of which, who were the STJ players that came in with a bang but left with a whimper?

Everybody list your top 35 in this thread!

Iā€™m gonna say Zendon Hamilton who came in as a top 10 National HS player. While having a good year as a senior averaging 15 ppg, the team finished 6th in the Big East, lost to Detroit Mercy in the first round of the NCAAs and he was undrafted in the 1998 NBA draft.

While to his credit, he did later make an NBA squad, surely his last days playing for the Johnnies were not memorable.

I debated "Main Man: Brevity" but it was too low-hanging fruit even for me.
