Highlight of a depressing game was getting to meet up with the redmen.com guys some who I have never met before. Met at a bar called tilt. We win together and we lose together. We might argue sometimes ( or in the case of some all the time :) ) but no question about it when you take the computer away this board has some really awesome people and people who read but don't post.

Was great as always to see Beast of the East and JerseyshoreJohnny. Really happy I finally got to meet MjDInkins after all these years because it seems like I have known him forever. TxRedman too. Finally met the biggest soccer fan on the site. Also I can safely report that as of about 2am last night Jhansonbro ( many will remember as the best fan we have ever had in the student section- the guy who wore sleeveless shirts behind the basket at carnesseca arena and his cohorts Sjuredmen11 and a couple of their friends who read the boards who are all great guys didn't need bail money yet and lets cross our fingers their wasn't a pitt type strip club incident because they were counting their cash and googling strip clubs by the time we left

I'm sure I'm missing a couple of people

I swear one of the funniest things I have ever seen in my life was this electronic board that was in the bar and I don't know if it was connected to twitter or something post game or if people were somehow sending messages to it but 90% of this huge board in the bar was constant things about SJU and some about redmen.com stuff. Baldi made the board several times and some of the stuff about Monasch that kept popping up on theta big board was so damn funny I almost pissed in my pants. Nathalie took a picture of the board once and I'll try and put up the pic and hopefully you guys can read it and just imagine what the other stuff that kept scrolling on it over the 2 hours was.

Anyway it was great seeing everyone. Jerseyshorejohnny had a great idea of maybe doing a redmen.com get together in NYC over the summer. You guys are the best

haha the text board was all from within tilt, the board had a number on it andwhatever you texted to that number got put up. Got a bit out of hand there for a while. Nice meeting you all though, too bad we couldnt come down with the win.
 
Great meeting so many of you as well. I really didn't even want to go out after the game but it was great drowning our sorrows together. As you said we win together we lose together!

See you all at the next NCAA site in 4 years!

I'd say the only person mentioned more than you over the course of 2 hours of constant topics on there was Monasch
 
Sounds like a good way to deal with the “L”, going straight back to the hotel would have sucked; celebrating a “W” would have much sweeter, you guys deserve kudos for trucking down there for the team and school, cheers!

Sorry wasn't able to meet up with you guys, especially MJDinkins and Maher who I was texting. Here's a shot of my crew (me in the middle + 2 non Redmen.com members) we were all alone up in Section 219. Even though we lost this trip was well worth it

Holy shit I saw you guys. I sat 4 rows directly in front of you. Literally right in front of you. I was in the gray sju sweatshit with hat

I think the rows were empty between you and me. Iiterally 20 feet between us

Not to worry mj, I picked you out easily in the pic. You, kran, mkras and MCN are the only Redmen.com members that I've ever met in person. Nice to see a few other faces to put with the screen names.

Damn, that was you??? Wish I had known I would have come down. Well that sucks lol. I was waiting on Dinkins to help us escape down to the section with all of our fans but security was too tight

I wished I could've met ya, Room. Maher had us in a loud and 'hood spot. LOL It's all good! I use to occasionally hang in such spots some years back.

It was actually a very, nice turn out of St. John's fans in the arena. Along, with meeting, Maher (a guy who I've seemed to know for years, but finally met him in person), I did get to meet Beast (as, I thought.... a cool dude.... He reminds me of myself, lol), his lovely daughters (they showed some maternal instincts, as it seemed they were watching over my son, lol), SJU11Redmen, JerseyJohnny (a dapper dude, lol) and his nephew, TxRedmen (his son is his twin), Maher's down-to-earth and sweet fiancee', Nathalie, and a host of others.

Pretty much, as I figured.... Y'all some cool folks! I'd love to do that again.

EDIT: I sat by a very, passionate St. John's fan during our game. He drove up from Orlando, Fl. He drove up by himself, as well. I asked him was a he a member of the any of the forums, but he wasn't. He said, he was freshmen with Artest. He mentioned graduated from St. John's in 2001.
