I decided not to comment on this. I'm one of those people who watch at least the news reporting on the other side's networks which is every channel not Fox. The lack of reporting on anything factual that would make liberals look bad makes it impossible to dialogue with all bit a few who at least know what's going on. The continual gameplan that began in earnest on election night was to drive the President out of office. If he said it or did it, it must be bad. Hes a racist (but 30+% of latinos voted for him), a sexual predator , when their own hero left the stains on a 21 yr olds dress as proof, he's talking to evil dictators. When Obama himself scoffed at the notion that Russia was a geopolitical foe. They ignore that Hillary paid the Russians for a dossier ontrump, and on and on and on.

The truth no longer matters in American politics, its what one sides creates as truth to sway the sheep - the electorate.

Which is why we cant discuss this ant longer, because the truth is no longer reported or even reported.

There. I didnt say it. Lock this thread too
Respectfully, I think you're way off and standing by this president is going to get harder and harder for the 33% who voted to put America first.
I didn't vote for the Donald nor am I a Republican but the hypocrisy and prejudice being exhibited by the extreme left is very disturbing. I have many friends who are conservative, both in politics and lifestyle. To deny them their right of freedom of expression as many liberals seem comfortable in doing on college campuses these days is un-American and fascist. The National Socialist German Workers' Party, the Nazis, started as a far right movement in Germany that led to one side ostracizing half a nation. The new far left social democratic movement in America is busy in states like California and New York fomenting hatred for anything Republican and labeling them racist.

Your response to Beast with false statistics (33%) is an example of embellishments citizens are bombarded with in the media. Trump won. Most of the electoral map was red after the election. The only reason Hilary won by 2.7 million votes was because Trump lost the states of California and New York by around 7 million votes.
As far as Russian interference with the election, they likely used media especially social media, to go negative against Hillary Clinton. There is a bogus investigation being conducted to try to bring the American president down.
I ask how different was the Russian meddling than the meddling propagated to this day on cable and broadcast news media like CNN, CNBC, The New York Times and the Washington Post?
Let's keep politics out of college basketball. It has already polluted pro football.

BTW, as an independent I also support many positions considered liberal causes such as universally accessible public services like care for the elderly, child care, education, health care, etc. That's why labeling is not an exact science.;)

We scream at each other and talk past one another. One cannot 'convince the convinced'. The 'facts' should prevail--but it's a complicated world, which often turns the 'facts' to fit the eye of the beholder.
If we could honestly debate each other...and 'hear' one another, and 'appeal' to common 'history'and 'traditions, and search out the bare and naked facts--and they are 'there'--that'd be a different and stark dynamic.
We're not close.
So, I'm on the side of 'the nation is collapsing', but I have given up trying to convince' close friends of my views over theirs. (Although, we do still rant at each other.)
And so, I say, with all due respect to my fellow Redmen.com Board fanatics.
Let's give it up, yearn for that 'jump ball'...and Let's Go Johnnies!

Hey mods, while you’re at it, please put the “New York Mets-2018” thread out to pasture as well. The season is long over, and it’s getting ugly over there. You might want to proactively prevent a “New York Mets-2019” thread as well.
if the Mets debacle of a team gets locked and this one too I'll just start a thread called " lesser of 3 evils " and we can talk politics and being a mets fan
I’m trying to figure out where this 33% who voted is coming from. MSNBC, CNN or Hillary’s staff?? Hate to break it to you, but if you truly think the next election will be a landslide you will be highly disappointed just like you were for the first election when every polling number was wrong.
