Realistic Outlook for Next Season

Hey Paultz -

By my count at the moment we have Posh, Wusu, Stef Smith, Wheeler, Pinzon, Stanley, Traore, and Nyiwe for next season.

Assuming Julian returns, how many scholarships do we have left?

And how many players are in the transfer portal to potentially fill them?

13 the limit but to me one or two less is not a big deal. I don’t know what interior players they are chasing in portal at his point, but hear they have been active with Old Dominion transfer guard Malik Curry. I also hear rumbling fwiw that the door is not shut on Greg W returning.
 

Hmm.  Seems a little premature for folks to be jumping out of windows when up to a third of the roster is still TBD.

Woh, that’s a new development regarding Greg!  I thought you intimated that the ship had sailed on a return for him and Marcellus

Thought it had 

Don’t know much about Curry.  His stats are good and he should stay at least two years, which is nice.  His three point shooting leaves something to be desired, but it appears to be on an upward trajectory.  The only thing I don’t like about him from the numbers is that he’s another smallish guard, which presumably could be a detriment on defense.  Paultz and others, any sense on what kind of a replacement he would make for Greg assuming Greg elects to transfer?
