Because every year better jobs than St. John’s open up.Then how can you say he will have a lot of better options?

You said "a lot" and you couldn't even give one specific example.Because every year better jobs than St. John’s open up.
Okay. I take “a lot” back. There will be a few? better jobs than St. John’s available soon. Better? You said "a lot" and you couldn't even give one specific example.
He can finish the job he started for two years when he had the Knicks with Ewing and Jackson playing exciting winning basketball and only left for Providence because GM Al Bianchi wasn’t on the same page with him on playing style.Rick will have better options than SJU but I am thinking and hoping that he would have no better thrill in basketball than walking into a packed MSG with a top ten SJU team to play a similar opponent.
Yes, that is better.Okay. I take “a lot” back. There will be a few? better jobs than St. John’s available soon. Better?
It's far from a lock that a no-brainer better job will be available to Pitino this spring. There's a chance it'll be a relatively quiet carousel this offseason. There may only be a couple bigtime jobs open this year and they may not be looking for a 70 year old when they have far better options than we do.Okay. I take “a lot” back. There will be a few? better jobs than St. John’s available soon. Better?
ESPN thinks Gtown, UCF, and ASU would be potential candidates. You decide if that’s better or not than St. John’s. Allof them make perfect sense and certainly have a bigger budget. You said "a lot" and you couldn't even give one specific example.
Serious question: why is RP so successful at the college level and so disappointing at the pro level (NBA &Euroleague)?Bama, he left the Knicks for Kentucky not Providence. He left Providence for the Knicks job.
Bianchi was an idiot!!!
I think he hates Louisville with a passion after what happened and would never return.ESPN thinks Gtown, UCF, and ASU would be potential candidates. You decide if that’s better or not than St. John’s. Allof them make perfect sense and certainly have a bigger budget.
I believe Ole Miss will at least make an inquiry.
But let’s get crazy…
what story a return to Louisville would be, the perfect salve to one disappointing season under Kenny Payne?
I think they mentioned ASU and UCF because Arizona and Florida have a high number of retirees.I think he hates Louisville with a passion after what happened and would never return.
Mississippi is the worst state in the country. I can't imagine he would have any desire to move there.
Georgetown is a better brand than us, but as one of the guys on the postgame show said, kids don't care about Georgetown brand. It means nothing to them. Could he resurrect it for a new generation? I think so.
I don't doubt that ASU and UCF have better facilities than us -- all football schools will -- but I don't think killing it at those programs brings the same spotlight as killing it at St. John's or Georgetown. Plus the Pac-12 might be dead sooner rather than later. ASU won't even be the best open job in that conference if moving across country appeals to him. Plus I'm honestly not so sure ASU is as open as we seem to think.
I think he could win a national championship at Ohio St. Would he movie to Ohio? And would they take him over what will be a flood of interest? I think Ohio State and Texas will be two of the top four potential openings. Mutual interest for either? I'm not sold on that at all.
Pitino has owned homes in both states for many years. He loves to golf year round. Not as far fetched as you would think.I think they mentioned ASU and UCF because Arizona and Florida have a high number of retirees.
I was thinking ND would make a run, but ND a) doesn’t pay a lot b) hires for the long term c) cuts bait at the first signs of impropriety/bad press. If ESPN guy hadn’t mentioned it, I wouldn’t have thought about Pitino to Notre Dame. But it makes so much sense on many levels.
I’m afraid the latter. No doubt 75', but maybe he'd like to stay home and resurrect his hometown school as his swan song? Or maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part.
How many waitresses?Rick has 4 somes booked through October at Winged Foot . He’s not going to want to do house hunting in DC , South Bend , Arizona or Texas . Would any of us think otherwise ? Plus , he’s going to want to be here for the Belmont in June . At which time , he can tell Cragg he wants all BE games to be played in , either the Garden or UBS .
I think Winged Foot opts for Waiters .How many waitresses?
Not that there’s anything wrong with that.I think Winged Foot opts for Waiters .
