No way IMO. I think it’s going to be at worst 80-20 and could be 85-90% St. John’s fans chanting for an English beat down

A decent number of kids in the greater Metro NYC area have gone to Providence over the years, being a nice school and an alternative to Fordham, for example for kids who want to dorm, not that far away. It's got pipelines with some of our suburban Cathloic high schools.

So, I'd say they have 20-25% of Saturday's crowd, locals sho don't bother to hit up their games in Providence. Not too different than Nova, except Nova is definitely closer.

Interesting comparison group – not in terms of skills, but scrappiness. Both teams seemed like a group willing to go to war together.

That would be done “behind” the scenes as the Providence game is first. A Saturday noon start.

While Marquette is more of a marquee game, it is on a Tuesday night which is a tougher sell for last minute (I am including a couple of days before the game) spur of the moment sales.

Yeah, the Creighton game is selling much better. Less than 40 left in 100s. 3pm start on Sun.

Close to 30%. my daughter graduated in MAy and knows lots of people going. They travel weel to MSG, plus a ton alums in the area.
