Providence Game

I expect PC to tromp a demoralized SJU team. If that happens who takes the blame?????????

Mark Jackson.

Are you really so limited to think there should be blamed to be assessed if St Johns loses big tonight. If there is blame to be assessed, it should fall squarely on the shoulders of D'Angelo Harrison for going off on Hines while Lavin was burying his father.

Anyone on the Sly Fox bus trip have a report on things are going so far..have you gotten to the casino yet or is too early?

I'm interested in seeing whether we play our weak zone defense or we go man. The Friars not only have Council and Cotton but also Batts. I'm hopeful but not expecting to cover the points.

I expect the team to be very good tonite and play a great game.
Need everyone to step up their games just a bit. Tired of hearing we are going to lose,
not cover the spread, etc. For all you negative energy vampires, just cause there is
an outlet to say something, maybe keep your thoughts to yourself. There are a bunch of
whiners in this world. Don't be one of them !!!

Friars are penciling in this game as a win, even before DLo. In fact the papers there believe this win along with the Hall, assumed win, will put them on the bubble going into the UCONN game.
and a chance at 10 and 8 in the league. I thought after the Cuse blowout that their would be a come down but they won at Rutgers and now assume 2 home wins. UCONN on the road is their fear,
not the Johnnie's at home.

Huh, I must have missed the memo about how they're good enough all the sudden to count victories over teams ahead of them in the standings before the game is played. Sure looked like same old PC against the Cuse.

Line is down to 6 1/2, was D'Lo reactivated, lol? I hope all the people that think Providence is a lock and that the Redmen have no shot in this game throw their mortgage on the Friars since they are such a sure thing.

Not so bad at the moment. Branch threw a fabulous pass to Greene, but he blew the layup. We gotta tighten up on the boards, though.

So far they are looking very good. Best ball movement and spacing we have seen in a long time. Looks like Branch is ready to contribute significant minutes. Obekpa, another huge swat

Good to hear. I'll be able to catch the second half, good to see us up on my espn app

Wow! Borgault - Obekpa - passes to Sampson for a slam! How nice was that?

It's amazing how much better this team plus without Harrison on the court. Of the first 12 points, 5 players scored. I actually think that Harrison hindered the development of players such as Balamou and Branch. One can only wonder how much further this team would be developed without DLo on this team. Win or lose, this is the most enjoyment I have had watching this team all year.

I have been calling for Obekpa to start over Marco but we should get Marco in for the last few minutes of the half to attempt to extend the lead with the defense tired. I would not take out Oblockpa though.
