Providence Game

Will be able to tell a lot about the Harrison move by the effort today. Providence has been playing well and if the team was adversely effected by Harrison's behavoir they will match Providence's effort. A blowout could tell us that Lavin has lost the team.

Or it could tell us that we aren'tt as good on the road without our best scorer..

If Lavin loses the team because he suspends a player because of outrageous behavior, then he should flush them all and start over. No one, except maybe in a prison league, would think it's okay to scream at teammates and coaches on multiple occasions. I suspect most teammates understand Lavin's decision, and some might actually be relieved to be free of a kid who not only thought he was better than any of them, but even better than an NBA HOFer who played here.

You know something, I wouldn't be shocked if the team rallied and actually won this game. It might just be addition by subtraction.
 
tonight's game is on espn 3 in case you can access that channel
i can get it on the ipad through the local cable company.
 
If Branch can play some effective minutes that would be a real boost. Otherwise this is a tall order for Greene.

I was thinking that Lavin may have confirmed that Branch is good for at least 20 mins this week. Wouldn't be surprised if he logs 25 and we see the teams best performance in weeks.
 
Up in Providence for the game tonight. Anyone else going? Best can do is keep supporting the kids who are out there. Thinking about making the ND trip as well. They need all the support they can get. Hope Marco goes bonkers with what I am guessing will be more playing time and Felix makes the most of any chance he gets. Need a complete team effort. And I am taking the 8. Call me crazy..
 
I expect PC to tromp a demoralized SJU team. If that happens who takes the blame?????????

I think that depends. If we get tromped b/c PC makes their shots and executes while we don't, then its not really a blame issue as much as that the better team won (unless you want blame the players for not executing). If we get tromped b/c we come out uninspired and clearly not ready to play, then that falls on the coaching staff. Sometimes the better team wins, it's not always about blame.

For some strange reason I think we cover the spread and I could see us winning but in no way am I confident enough to call my local wager consultant
 
I think we start out fast, but fade down stretch and lose by double digits.

I also think bobre is bobre.
 
If we lose we'll never ever win another game without Harrison.

If we win it's a better team without him.
 
This was a tough game, with or without Harrison. PC has athletes. Council is a excellent PG and Cotton a superb SG..

They have played well lately, except against some of the top tier teams and can get to a .500 BE record with a win.

Maybe we respond like the Celtics did without Rondo and go on a 5-6 game winning streak...

We can only hope.

Like I said yesterday, "Patrick Ewing Theory", Redmen pull off the shocker rallying around the situation and playing as a team.
If they should happen to lose I think the blame should all go on Bobre.

Where do you get this from. I have not heard one person state that the team is demoralized. If we lose, we just lose. Providence is playing very well right now..
All I ask is that the team play hard and play together.
