Providence Game Thread

Can't imagine how a team would or could come out w/ a lack of effort w/an NCAA bid on the line (especially when the decks were cleared for them w/ Villanova loss).

Damn! did anyone see the position Jakarr had on that 3 by Jordan? He was in perfect position for the rebound and just barely jumped. It wouldve been an easy 2 pts~!

Josh Fortune is less than a 30% 3-point shooter, if I'm not mistaken, but he's eating us alive.

There are ebb's and flow's to games, and frankly, this one has a horrible one to it. Getting a bad feeling now.

Why does it seem that in these type of games where both teams are pretty even and there is even a little something on the line, the other team is always playing like they want it more.

It's disgusting

Lazy defense + one on one offense + horrible rebounding = getting punked and embarrassed on your own court in a must win game

Lavin getting out coached yet again......and losing to a team with alot less talent

Get used it. ITs whats we'll be seeing regularly for the next 6 years

I didn't like the flow of this game when we were up in the first half.

You say that nearly every game, though. LOL

I had no problem with the flow of it 'til Providence made it a one-point game.

Hope we don't start playing "hero ball" here. Just stay composed.

There's no getting around it. This year will have a been a failure for St. John's if they don't make the NCAAs.

Agreed
