Yeah, some snide comments about "taking back his songs by singing them himself" made it clear early that there would be not even a brief remembrance of that partnership of his career during the show. Wasn't really special the way I thought a career finisher would be. He talked about being local a couple of times but besides that it was the exact set list he's been playing the entire tour. Great musicianship and a nice venue/crowd but nothing special, besides the fine fried balls courtesy of The Arancini Bros.[/quote]
Simon doesn't understand that his audience doesn't want to take sides in his childish pissing match with Garfunkel. As I said saw both last year and Garfunkel was gracious in his comments referring to Simon.
The runt should understand that no one gives a frick who writes a song, just the performance. Let him take back Bridge over troubled water and try to sing that by himself.
