Have not won at the Pavilion in 26 years. (0-10) during that stretch.
Time to right another wrong.

Source: Mike Stevens will be one of the officials for Tuesday night's game between St. John's and Villanova. Stevens was the one who made the controversial call last week when St. John's fell to Seton Hall. #SJUBB

He will give us calls. If it is a close call and he is the official in the lead role we will get the call. He will be terrified to mess up a second time.

They should be ashamed of themselves!!![/quote]

I hope we're up at least 4pnts with :4 to go.
I don't trust this pos.

With our luck and a 4 point lead, he'd call a foul on us after a made 3 to tie the game
Especially playing on the road

Not shortchanging the champs, but this is a better matchup for SJU than Hoyas with their size imo. Any road game is tough, but I would take our perimeter guys over Nova’s & don’t see them exploiting our size in the paint. With two wins in hand of initial four tough BE games, perhaps we are playing with house $$ & our veteran, seasoned group will be loose & ready.

Agree here. We match up better with them than Georgetown. Just for some interesting ranks within the Big East.

Nova ranks:
- 3rd to last in conference in scoring offense.
- 2nd to last in FG%
- 2nd to last in FG% defense
- 7th in 3-pt FG%
- last in assists
- tied for last in steals.
- 7th in A/TO ratio.

Just a cursory glance at those ranks says they aren’t the offensive power they usually are and they give up plenty of buckets. I know the ranks don’t mean everything but give a little window into some of the weaknesses mainly. They’re good defensive rebounding team and middling in most other ranks.

Nova usually gets the call in their favor. Nova at home always gets the call in their favor. If you think otherwise you might be in for a rude awakening come Tuesday :)

I doubt it. Was he disciplined?
I don't like it, but I bet his presence will energize our guys.
Let's go Johnnies!

Based on those stats, we should be 10 point favorites :p

16 turnovers by Nova today. We should be able to pressure the hell out of Gillespie & Cremo.
