Wonderful story - thanks for posting! Great to see the love and support the PC family has had for this kid who's been an awful lot over the past few years. Hope he has a good game in a losing cause tomorrow night!

Cooley has taken PC to the next level, but I truly feel they already hit their ceiling with him. They will make tournaments on the reg, however they will almost never do anything in them. They will recruit well, make the tourney, but not really break through nationally IMO. Their offense is traditionally not good under Cooley. At least we've found some shooters in the last several years in D'Lo, Clark, Heron, Ponds (freshman version), LJ, Ahmed, Mussini, etc. but PC never seems to have any.

As a long suffering fan, I would take in a heart beat just making the tournament on the reg.

I just hope the Prov team that lost to Penn, Long Beach State and Charleston shows up and not the one who beat Texas, GTown and Marquette.

In the games that I've seen Providence play this season, they looked slow. I think we will run them off the court.

Cma going to make Cooley his bitch again just like last year
Is the vulgarity really necessary???
Lol after the depaul game someone said something, and not a word from anyone.
Love the double standard.
I'll try to be all saintly for now on.

Lol heck, thinking back, i think he even got thank yous, i say something and get scolded. That's comical to me. Lmao
I must have missed the post after the DePaul game. Nothing personal, but I find referring to any man as a "b---h" very disrespectful.
If I remember correctly didn't correctly didn't cooley refer to mullin as a bitch after a game at providence which resulted in a shoving match?
I was one of the posters who thanked MJM for his we're going to f*** them up post and also thanked Panther2 for his post. The difference to me is MJM's post used profanity in a non-personal way whereas CMA's post came off to me as personally demeaning to Cooley, which I find unnecessary; so Panther's post struck a cord. But I get how CMA could view it as hypocritical and will try to be more judicious in my "thank yous" going forward. Nothing personal intended CMA. We're all Johnnie fans rooting for our team in our own way.
Yeah and cooley didn't get personal with Chris?

On page 2 of this thread, two of the same posters thanking Panther2 for admonishing CMA TIME, thanked mjmaherjr for predicting we would “f*ck them up” when referring to Providence. Not sure of the rationale but there it is.
Not sure the exact reason people thanked me but I'd assume it's because I don't have a history of coming here and getting nasty with people on threads or make things personal and people know when I post here it's usually all in good fun
All in the eyes of the beholder; so you are saying vulgarity is permissible and even admired if it comes from someone as wonderful as you. Got it.

St. John's opens as a 4.5 point underdog tomorrow at Providence. #sjubb

Logen, don't you get it?
Certain people can say as they want on here, and people will be all agreeing and thanking them.
Then when someone that they don't like says something similiar those same people will be up in arms, omg he just committed a mortal sin.

For the record, I stick by what i say and hope cma's team abuses Cooley's team. I don't like Cooley's attitude.
If I was Chris or Steve I'd just smile at cooley, then if he said something, I'd say:
"I love taking the kids you're recruiting." Just to piss him off even more.

It has nothing to do with likes or dislikes. There is a big difference between saying St Johns is going to F--K up a team and calling a man a Bitch. What I find very troubling is that some on here think it is acceptable. To me there is never any justification to calling any man or woman out of there name. Yet, on Redmen.com, some will try to defend the indefensible.

Instead of trying to justify the post, why not ask "was it really necessary to be worded like that". Nah, that would take some introspection, and maybe even admitting it was a classless thing to do.

Lets get back on task.

Anyone here have more confident in this team winning Sat vs Seton Hall then tom night? I am. I have no doubt we will be SU on Saturday but highly concerned about tom night.

Was it necessary for Cooley to call Mullin a "Bitch"? Bet after he called Millin that, he had no regrets.
So neither do I.

Lets just drop.this and get back to the game discussion, you're not changing my mind on how i feel about cooley.
Most on here would probably appreciate it.

I'm more confident about tomorrow night.
We're gonna put it on Cooley's boys, hopefully real bad.

Yes back on task. Thanks Duke if Earl... ( who has his Duchess of Earl - Gene Chandler - one of my first and favorite doo wop songs early 1960s. )
I’m concerned about both games.

We have shown we can lose any game we play. I just pray CMA can keep his non- losing record in tact.
All the best

Plus Logen who I liked is saltier than the Downeaster Alexa lately abd lets be honest even though he doesn’t like me know for a reason I won’t get into I love his hoops posts because he knows basketball but he is the poster model for not treating others with respect lately. And I’ll say this . I’m on record right now I like Logen ( littkemin ) I know who everyone is. No one knows more than me and Dinkins about forensic posts. I’ll keep this generic. Treat people the way you want to be treated. Life is that simple. And to CMA , LOGEN or whoever else feels offended by a post of mine or if I curse I rarely curse I keep it in light context and absolutely no one here except real fan and sly fox or Fordham ( in r&p forum ) since Ithis site existence can say ive gotten personal with them and sometimes someone needs to look in the mirror and see their own faults because I know mine and I’ll say them here.
