Appreciate the effort by the department.

But put a team on the floor that looks less rudderless and disappointing than STJ this year, and the seats will be filled.

Over under on Horchler offensive rebounds = 3.5. Under we win.

He's the guy I worry could ruin our day - if you stop Watson and the guards and forget about him, he can kill you.

Sorry for the late notice. Been pretty busy and traveling. Out of town now and will not make tonight's game. Anyone interested in my two tickets? PM me ASAP.

A strange line.  There is no reason to think St johns is almost 4 points better then the 15th ranked team in the nation.  Vegas expects us to play very well tonight.  Maybe they got wind of the pajama stuff.
Providence may be ranked 15th by a bunch of writers but they are realistically nowhere near the 15th best team in the country

Well they just beat xavier and Marquette who are ranked 21 and 24 and they beat uconn earlier who is ranked 17.  So I think 15 is exactly where they should be ranked.

You could just as easily make the argument they are under ranked.

I mean sure, people can rank them whatever they want but as I said earlier, every single analytic site agrees that this Providence team is without a doubt the most overrated 18-2 team in recent history.

Kenpom: 47th
Barttorvik: 39th
Haslam: 60th
Sagarin: 37th
EvanMiya: 45th

The regression bug is going to bite Providence hard. Hopefully it starts tonight.

Happy to see all these marketing efforts for tonight and looking forward to the game. Seems like a very solid effort.

Julian snaps out of his funk and gets his ppg back up to 20.

That means he's scoring 62 tonight, which probably means we win.

Channeling Rick Barry, who for years, maybe still, had the alumni hall single game scoring record

Think it will be up to Wheeler to keep Horchler off the offensive boards and not let him get easy open threes. Hope he bounces back from what was a bad game after several good ones.

It's a typical Providence team - you look at the players and the numbers and you would think that would have a certain result, and yet they always win more games than you think they should.  Cooley and Willard are very similar in terms of having teams that defend, compete, don't beat themselves, and that take a 40 minute disciplined effort to put away, even when they don't have an obvious star.

Also after last year which was a huge aberration in that pattern for Providence, they are plainly on a Mission From God this year.  But that isn't a quantifiable statistic.

I think we can beat them and may well beat them, but we will have to play well to do that.

Not feeling great about tonight. It feels like tonight is gonna be a tight one. Providence has shown well in tight games, esp last 2. Durham hit big free throws down the stretch in their last game. Cooley will have them ready. Wusu and Wheeler played well in 1st one. Hope they and the rest of the gang show up

I was at the game where the Redmen beat Barry's U Miami team in Alumni.

We will probably see Father Shanley tonight I would expect.   In regards to all you analytical nerds, This PC squad is as tough and intense as any Cooley squad yet.  They find a way.  Your computers don't have any idea how to handle that.  I expect this game to be another war.

Not doubting that they play hard but don't say nobody told you so when your team inevitably regresses back to where they are supposed to be.

Believe the Providence president will also be at the game
