This is a much more winnable game for us than UCONN imho. Not a must game in any sense of the word, but for me a win will make me pretty optimistic for an 11 win BE season.
That's what makes this a great opportunity for us.   If Julian has one of his "climb on my back" games, we can play with anyone in the Big East if two or three others make solid contributions.    The away games are like breaking serve in tennis.  In the Big East, successful teams should win away against bottom rung teams, steal one or two against the middle of the pack, and occasionally steal one against the top teams.    Providence will likely be a tourney team if they continue their level of play, so a win here would be a great BE win for us.

We’re only 3.5 point dogs on the road against a Nationally ranked team? I get it’s a conference game but am I missing something?

Anderson has beaten Cooley three in a row and PC has played very well, but really not an elite team inmo. Good shot today I believe.

Where is Fr Shanley today and who is he rooting for ?    I know the answer because he’s addressed it several  times already .  It’s PC and give him credit for being above board and honest and loyal to his Alma Mater .     He’s been working on a St John’s Mission Plan and it should  be ready soon . Lots of Areas need to be addressed . For those of you who get the Alumni Magazine , there is a lot about him in the recent issue . Very impressive !

SJU now 3-1/2 pt dog.
For some reason neither Fanduel nor Draftkings, which are both live in NY as of this morning, have lines on the game. If they did, I'd be teasing PC(at pick em) and someone else.

Well based on his rooting for Providence what is his St. John's mission, to continue to help Providence College? /media/kunena/emoticons/grin.png
