I give us a 25% chance of winning this game. Marquette has size and talent and say what you want about Wojo but he coaches with Duke intensity. Even with Keita 100% we would likely lose this game. Although our starting 5 are as good as anyone in the league we literally drop off the cliff once one of the starters sits regardless of who it is. Greg Williams is the only Big East level talent on the bench who can play an all around game that includes defense. Trimble is a 3 point set shooter and slow. Dixon is a 3 point shooter who can't defend. Having a 6'9 Josh Roberts on the bench while watching one of our guards defend players 6'9 is hard on the eyes. Not having an adequate bench in year four of this experiment is truly a sad situation. While we are recruiting height for next year we definitely were a day late and a dollar short this season which is par for the course.

The only thing I would change is that Trimble is a bad 3 point shooter. He has a reputation for being a good 3 point shooter. He is shooting 30% for the season thus far!

I think we win this game for much of the same reason I thought we’d lose to the Hall. Just as The Hall on the road has been a house of horrors the past however many years we typically play very well against Marquette and Ponds in particular has been spectacular when up against Howard

If you follow Shamorie on instagram you can tell he’s taking this loss personally and I suspect he will do everything he can to make Markus Howard life hell on the court. I don’t know how we stop those Houser brothers but we have to figure it out.

ESPN has us with a 57 percent chance of winning this game. We could be ranked with a win as well.

And it will take 5 games for him to blend it with the offence if we lose a few more games early will have to wait until next yr to dance

Same thing happened last year. He had a stinker against Butler. Tweeted apology and came back stronger. He is a warrior.

We will win this one. Trust me. We will be 2-1 in big east going into that nova game

We win a hard fought game Tuesday and move on. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. We'll punish the Hall at MSG.

One thing about last nights game, even though we were robbed of a win, is that our fears came true. Not having Keita hurt us is a few ways. Rebounding as Nzei had his way underneath, the foul trouble it caused because our guards have to guard the other teams front court players when they get the ball down low and have no choice but to foul and our lack of depth is a problem due to the first two issues. Marquette is better than Seton Hall but I think Shamorie will be determined. The Hauser brothers can play and they are 6'9. Marquette wins on a Theo John put back of a Howard miss just as time expires. Put a knife in me now.

There are plenty of tickets on sale for this game. Real disappointing to see the building will probably not packed for such a big game tomorrow night.

Also- the school has purchased numerous seats and are selling them at a cheaper price. You will notice all tickets are resale but they are in blocks.

A game on January 1st is tough and I would not be surprised if we did not have a packed house. Quite frankly, it is no better than 50/50 that I make this game which is after a family dinner and frying to get myself ready to go back to work after being out since the 21st.

Cragg is a very responsive guy. He always and quickly responds to texts & emails from my own personal experience. He values the fan base & wants to further develop the program to broaden that base. On a side note fwiw, told he and family enjoy the N.Y. area. Love his spirit and leadership thus far!

I met him in Miami. Really sharp and intelligent guy. Lucky to have him on board. Much more polished than Goff and Monasch.

He is all in on this, he was explaining when he was looking at housing he looked at few places - Garden City, etc but decided upon Forest Hills because he wanted to be right next to campus. He really is all in and it is good to hear.

Marquette is up to 16th on the AP poll. Huge opportunity for the guys tomorrow. The house may not be packed but I guarantee it will be loud.

Playing a nationally ranked team on campus on a day everyone is off and not having a packed arena is embarrassing. And we should expect more games at Madison Square Garden?!?!

7PM start time on last day of holidays doesn't help....

must be worried about everyone not being able to get up after parties or those meaningless bowl games in afternoon.
