People will say, oh this is game 2 of 18 conf games.
But, I'm saying it right now, MUST WIN DAMN IT.
Only because of last years 0-11 start, can't start this year 0-2.

IMO Marquette is a better team than SH (maybe the best in the BE) & will harder to beat.

Nothing to do with last year but yes a must win. Need to hold serve at home and pick off a few road games. Like tonight. Oh.

He hasn’t practiced yet. He’s not going to play.

Agree.

As badly as I want to see the kid in uniform, I gotta admit the kid looks damn sharp in street clothes on the sidelines. Richard Roundtree got nothing on him!

I don't think Keita will make a difference for a while.

Agree in terms if instant productivity, but they benefit from adding a big body to preclude a guy like Trimble trying to guard guys 6 inches bigger than him in post.

Another one decided in last minute of game. Marquette hot, blessed with scorers and reasonable size & depth. Never defend that well though, so I will go with the Johnnies in a war.

I like Ponds playing like a scorer rather than a facilitator. We know he can dish and get others involved, I'd like him to score and see us win.

Hoping to see Wojo sweaty & pissed as Johnnies bounce back;

You mean that’s not his natural state?

I agree but I think he needs to get going earlier from a scoring standpoint. The hall kept someone on him from the moment he crossed the half court line, McKnight was in his shorts, and he wore down as the game went on. We need someone else to bring the ball up at times, Simon, and give Ponds a break. He also could use a blow during the game around the media time outs, especially in the 2nd half.
